Chapter Eleven

Daveyion was chilling in the house with his cousin Ray who had just flown in from Texas. Growing up, the two were as thick as thieves and when you saw one, you always saw the other. Their moms are sisters so it was only right that they grew up close.

“What’s up with this imaginary girlfriend you got?” Ray asked.

“Imaginary? Come on now, nigga, you know me better than that but I don’t know where she at.” Daveyion shrugged.

“Fuck you mean you don’t know? How the hell you don’t where your girl at, nigga? Fuck type of shit is that?”

“Because I don’t need to keep a leash on my girl. I trust her ass; it’s her ex I don’t trust,” Daveyion informed his cousin.

“Why? What’s up with her ex?”

Daveyion shook his head. “It’s some crazy shit, but you probably wouldn’t believe me even if I told you the shit.”

Ray looked at him sideways. “Hit me with your best shot.”

“She still lives with his ass,” Daveyion mumbled.

Ray sat up on the couch with a crazy look on his face. “Hold the fuck up, little nigga. I need you to speak a little louder because I know I heard you wrong. I know good and damn well you did not just tell me your bitch still lives with her ex, as in her ex-nigga. As in the nigga that used to give her ass the pipe, as in the nigga that’s probably still giving her as the dick now? I can’t believe this shit! I know I taught you better than this shit,” Ray fussed.

Daveyion fell out laughing. “If you don’t shut up your stupid ass up. Nigga, you did teach me better than that. Ever since I locked her ass down, she been staying her ass here at night. I’m not playing that shit. Especially since I know he still want her, I can tell by the way he act. When she first introduced me, we was on some friends shit and he snatched her ass up, had her ass pinned up against the wall and was ready to beat her ass and everything.”

“Damn, she got that nigga gone. So how he feel now that y’all actually together?” Ray questioned.

“Shit, I don’t even think he know and I really don’t give a fuck how he feel. He fucked up and a real nigga lucked up,” Daveyion said cockily.

“Sounds to me like you might have to put a bullet in that nigga head,” Ray said seriously.

“I been peeped that but it’s not just him, either. It’s his brother, too. That nigga treat Zuri like a fucking little girl. She can’t even take a piss without him being down her fucking throat. I just sit back and don’t say shit because that’s their relationship and the nigga basically raised her and you can’t say shit to neither one of them without her being mad at you, but the shit is crazy.”

“So he basically the type that would make her chose between you or him?” Ray asked.
